Lisa Hunter graduated from Bethel University in Indiana with a BA in Sign Language Interpreting. She has held the National Interpreter Certification (NIC) since 2011. She also received her credentials for legal interpreting in the Commonwealth in 2016. Lisa first started learning ASL in high school where her deaf instructor encouraged her to pursue a career in interpreting. She has been interpreting for Kentuckians since 2012 and resides in Jessamine County.
